Before a template can be used, it must first be submitted and approved by WhatsApp. Templates can be created using either the Engage Portal or Moja.

Option 1: Engage Portal

  1. Log in to the Engage Portal.
  2. Navigate to WhatsApp Templates.
  3. Click Create New.
  4. Complete the required template information.
  5. Submit the template for approval.

Option 2: Moja

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Select WhatsApp Templates.
  3. Click Create New.
  4. Fill in the required details.
  5. Submit the request.
Templates must be approved before they can be used for sending WhatsApp messages.
