Send parameters (outbound)

Parameters used when sending messages from your application to the Messaging Platform.

Parameter	Required	Description
`USERNAME`	Yes	Provided username
`PASSWORD`	Yes	Provided password
`DESTADDR`	Yes	Destination MSISDN in international format without `+`. Example: `255650000001`
`SOURCEADDR`	Yes	Sender address. Alphanumeric senders max 11 characters (`A–Z`, `a–z`, `0–9`, space)
`MESSAGE`	Yes	Message content. URL-encoded for GSM text; hex-encoded for binary/UCS2
`SOURCEADDRTON`	No	Type of Number for source: `0` Unknown, `1` International (default), `5` Alphanumeric
`SOURCEADDRNPI`	No	Numbering Plan Indicator for source address
`CHARCODE`	No	Encoding: `0` GSM text (default), `2` Binary (8-bit)
`DLR`	No	Set to `1` to request a delivery report
`DLRADDRESS`	No	HTTPS URL to receive DLRs for this message. Example: `https://www.example.com/dlr`
`VP`	No	Validity period in seconds before the message expires
`SOURCEPORT`	No	Source port (0–65535). Added to UDH
`DESTPORT`	No	Destination port (0–65535). Added to UDH
`UDHI`	No	User Data Header indicator. Non-zero when UDH is present in message body
`UDH`	No	User Data Header bytes in hex (e.g. WAP Push header)
`CONCATSMSREF`	No	Concatenated SMS reference number (0–255)
`CONCATSMSSEQ`	No	Sequence number for this message part
`CONCATSMSMAX`	No	Total number of parts for this message

You do not need to set concatenation parameters manually — the platform handles long message splitting automatically.

Parameters sent from MP to your DLRADDRESS callback when DLR=1.
