# Search and filtering

> Search address books and contacts with pagination and filters.

The Contacts API supports searching and filtering to simplify managing large datasets.

## Address books

You can:

* Search by address book name
* Filter by creation date
* Paginate results

## Contacts

You can search contacts using:

* First name
* Last name
* Mobile number

This allows applications to quickly locate individual contacts without retrieving the entire contact list.
